I am blessed to be able to taste mooncakes from a couple of hotels and restaurant this year. Thought I'll just review them and share my thoughts with you.
Needless to say that the Raffles Hotel Snow Skin Mooncakes are known to be the best. Newer flavors available this year are the Snow-Skin Kaffir Lime Mooncake and the Snow-skin Rum and golden rasin moon cake. No doubt that my favourite is still the Snow-skin Mooncake with champagne truffles & ganache.

I love the embroidery done for the box cover, there were very interesting flavours as well.Mixed Nuts with Chicken Bak Kua Moon Cake, very nutty with chunks of ba kua. Has a sweet and salty taste to it.
Home-made Agar Agar Mooncake
Brought by my colleague from Malaysia . Adorable and delicious filled with red beans.
I liked the nutty mooncake the Lotus paste and Macadamia Nuts went very well together.

Small on size huge on flavor , I have tried the Mini White Lotus Seed with Yolk and found it to be not too sweet, just delightful burst of flavor with every bite. Great that it is tiny too prevents you from over eating whahah.
I love the design of the box, looks like you could keep a bottle of wine in it , very sleek and stylish. Mooncake wise was pretty good but I just didn't like the taste of the egg yolk too salty for my liking.

I like the taste not overly sweet, design of the box is pretty too . The logo can be used as a fridge magnet how clever !

I love these snow-skin moon cakes especially yellow ones.The core of each mooncake contains the alcoholic goodies and (from the left, Rum & Raisin Chocolate Truffle, Champagne Truffle & Chocolate Ganache and Feuilletine-Hazelnut with Wafer Crunch Nuts).
After eating all those delicious mooncakes remember to have some tea as Mooncakes can be very heaty.
