Djitsun Mall Restaurants - In a quiet corner of Ang Mo Kio Central, there is Djitsun mall and on the ground floor of the building are a few restaurants, Buddy Hoagies is the restaurant that darling and I decided to spend our afternoon at, here is my review and what we enjoyed eating.

Kid-friendly restaurants - The moment I stepped into the restaurant, I could tell it was a very family orientated setting as I saw a little "play" corner for kids, a couple of toys to amuse the kiddies. There is even a kids menu for children aged 12 and under, I wouldn't say that the dishes served are healthy because it is mostly pasta/ mac and cheese and fried stuff with cookies but this is expected from western food cuisine in Singapore, taken as a treat for a child once in a blue moon would be appropriate.
Choice of portion size - I liked that I had an option in choosing the portion size for the pork, chicken and beef steaks. These main dishes are also very reasonably priced ranging from SGD$13.00 to SGD$25.00. For restaurant standards this very affordable. I would not hesitate to bring a large group for a casual gathering or a celebratory meal as the expenditure would not be too damaging financially.

Wide selection of food - The range of food is amazing! Be spoilt for choice, pizzas, pasta, fish and chips, sandwiches, salads and rosti Indeed a western food heaven all at very affordable prices, the quality of food is not shortchanged for the amount we pay as well, indeed very good standard and taste.

Buddy Hoagie Singapore - In the quiet of a late Sunday afternoon darling and I settled for a Rosti and the grilled pepper chicken steak. The rosti was indeed nicely done crispy and the steak just the way I like it smothered in pepper sauce and tender. The main dishes come with a choice with 2 sides and I must say the vegetables are great not overcooked at all.

Buddy Hoagies Review - Buddy Hoagies has been operating for 12 years at Nee Soon South CC and they are a family run restaurant that has grown to 4 more outlets in Bedok, Punggol, Bukit Timah and Ang Mo Kio. As echoed by many others who have written a review for them, this fantastic family restaurant is always located in a more secluded or quiet area. Buddy Hoagies is indeed a pearl within an oyster, a hidden gem.
